Julianne Hough extends warm congratulations to her ex-husband Brooks Laich and his fiancée Katrin Tanja Davídsdóttir as they embark on their new journey together.

Julianne Hough reached out to her ex-husband Brooks Laich after he announced his engagement to Katrin Tanja Davíðsdóttir.
Within half an hour, Hough commented on the post with her well wishes. “Congratulations I’m so happy for you both as you step into this beautiful new chapter together,” she wrote. “Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures!”
Laich replied quickly, writing, “Thank you for the kinds words, much love Jules!”
The former couple’s marriage was confirmed in June 2017, but they announced their split in May 2020 after nearly three years together. Laich filed for divorce in November 2020, and the pair finalized their split in June 2022.
Despite the breakup, Laich has maintained a friendship with Hough’s brother Derek, who told Us Weekly that he “didn’t have any animosity” towards his sister’s ex. In August 2023, Laich was a groomsman in Derek’s wedding party, and Hough’s wife Hayley Erbert shared her excitement for the couple on social media.
Laich confirmed his romance with Davíðsdóttir in August 2021 after being spotted cheering her on at the NOBULL CrossFit Games. The duo has been traveling the globe together since then, documenting their romantic getaways on social media.
