Brittany Mahomes Joins Patrick Mahomes at Playoffs After Giving Birth
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, made a surprise appearance at the team’s AFC divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans on January 18. This marked her first public outing since giving birth to their third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, just six days prior.
Brittany joined her husband on the sidelines at Arrowhead Stadium, where she was spotted wearing a cream coat bearing Patrick’s jersey number – 15 – and red pants. The moment was captured by ESPN’s SportsCenter, which shared a video of Brittany kissing Patrick before he took to the field.
The Chiefs organization also showed their appreciation for the couple and their new addition by giving them a public shoutout on social media. A photo of Patrick arriving at Arrowhead Stadium was shared on the team’s Instagram page, along with the caption “QB1’s looking Golden.” Brittany reposted the tribute on her Instagram Stories.
Brittany has been a regular presence at Chiefs games, cheering on her husband and their family. The couple now has three children together: Patrick Lavon “Bronze” Mahomes (2), Sterling Skye Mahomes (3), and baby Golden Raye Mahomes.
In an interview with Today.com published on January 16, Brittany shared that her daughter had initially suggested the name Elsa for her new sibling. However, the couple ultimately decided to stick with their tradition of giving elemental names to their children.
When asked about expanding their family further in the future, Patrick shut down the idea at a press conference on January 14, stating “I’m good with three” for now.
