Bell & Ross Unveils Sky-Inspired BR-05 Chrono Patrouille de France Watch
The latest collaboration between Bell & Ross and the Patrouille de France aerobatics demonstration team of the French Air Force has resulted in a unique timepiece that captures the essence of the sky from a pilot’s perspective. Building on their partnership formed in 2021, this fourth joint project showcases the brand’s ability to merge innovative design with military inspiration.
Design and Features
One of the standout features of the BR-05 Chrono Patrouille de France watch is its distinctive shape and design. The bezel boasts straight edges, but also incorporates subtle curves that add a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. Each corner is adorned with a screw, which complements the design and gives the front face a cockpit-like appearance.
The dial’s design draws inspiration from Patrouille de France‘s pilots and planes, with the subdial layout and design mirroring those found on flight indicator dials. The dial itself features a sky-blue color reminiscent of the pilot’s attire, while the subdials are characterized by a deep blue hue that accentuates the dial’s color.
Patrouille de France Logo and Limited Edition
To honor their partnership with Patrouille de France, Bell & Ross has proudly featured the team’s logo above the 12 o’clock hour marker. The design incorporates the team’s primary colors in a subtle yet effective way. Each of the 500 limited edition timepieces will retail at $7,400.
The case back takes the design to new heights, thanks to the sapphire crystal that showcases the intricate mechanics within. This unique watch is not only a testament to Bell & Ross’ innovative spirit but also a tribute to the Patrouille de France team’s dedication and skill.
