Two of the men injured in the attack suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the third person sustained less severe injuries. All three victims were taken to hospital for treatment. The incident occurred across several streets in the Arbour Hill area of Stoneybatter.

Local residents have been left shaken by the incident, with many expressing their concern and shock on social media. Fine Gael councillor Ray McAdam described the community as ‘closely knit‘ and said that while there is a level of shock and concern, the overriding sense is one of hope for those injured to make a swift recovery.
Calls for Witnesses
The Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, particularly those who may have video footage from the area between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm on Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bridewell Garda station or the Garda Confidential Line.
Taoiseach’s Statement
The Taoiseach Micheál Martin wished those injured in the ‘shocking attacks‘ a full recovery and commended the Gardaí and emergency services for their prompt response. The Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald also expressed her concern and solidarity with the victims and their families, describing the incident as ‘terrible news‘.
